Tyler Alexander

Tyler Alexander joins Bick Law LLP after serving for 7 years as a Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) in Washington, D.C.  At ENRD, Tyler defended high-profile government permits and projects in federal district and circuit courts across the country, including decisions regarding southern border security, mineral development, oil and gas development, and projects aimed at mitigating catastrophic wildfires.  Tyler has extensive experience with federal environmental law, including NEPA, FLPMA, NFMA, MUSYA, section 404 of the Clean Water Act, and section 7 of the Endangered Species Act.  He has also litigated water rights issues in California and defended the United States at trial in Fifth Amendment takings cases before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Before joining ENRD through the Attorney General’s Honors Program, Tyler clerked for the Hon. Patrick E. Higginbotham on the Fifth Circuit.
