Lauren received her J.D. in 2021 from UCLA School of Law, where she served as the Executive Editor for the UCLA Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. She has held legal internships with the Surfrider Foundation and Natural Resources Defense Council, working on coastal land use and urban oil drilling. Throughout law school she also worked for Professors Ann Carlson and Alex Wang conducting research for their scholarship on climate change and air pollution law and policy. In addition, Lauren researched novel legal questions arising under the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, and the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, as part of UCLA Law’s Frank G. Wells Environmental Law Clinic and California Environmental Legislation Clinic.
